Good to know that the BGM makes a return (yay!); I guess the variation of Hedgehog's Dilemma or maybe it's the new song that played during Rei's "Emergency call. I'll go on ahead." because I heard those piano elements in that clip. I just hope we do get some mostly unused S2 Works stuff. :(

What sounds like some J-pop background supermarket music

Beautiful World is slowly...slowly growing on me. It's not a bad song, just not anywhere near being the classic that was Cruel Angel's Thesis.

Awesome awesome. Setlist sounds very promising. I also like the idea of using a few unused tracks from S2 Works as there where some good cues that missed out (Advancement Of The Human Instrumentality Project, Angel Arrival, Menace And Surprise, ect.) I personally regret looking at the list and do not wish to hear your recording any time soon! :) I'd much rather the whole thing hit me at once via the OST release. Now only if September 26 could come any faster!

I removed the link since the audio is really bad quality (despite a high bitrate) and it's a pretty lousy way to experience Rebuild - I only d/l'd it to get a feel of the new BGM and since I wrote down what it was I felt it had served its purpose - more than that and it'd be spoiling it. I'd hoped there'd be more substantial material out there by now :shock:

Seriously. Even though some people may find it annoying, I love it. It's a VERY fitting song for Shinji, I think.

I've been hearing that song and her FMTTM constantly while I was in Akihabara, I think I spent like a thousand dollars there, got my picture taken with life sized Asuka and Rei, many stores like Tokyo Anime dedicated 90% of their entire store to Eva, also got a lot of pictures of production drawings for Rebuild, oh and maid cafes rock.

The BGM sounds really good, although some of it sounds the same as the original. The theatre had really good sound. Couldn't reply earlier because hotel in Tokyo had no internet, and a fucking Typhoon is here now so instead of getting caught in it, we took the first train out to Nagano since all the trains heading out were getting stopped (after watching the news here, seems subways are getting stopped too)
