Does Rei start a relation with Gendo at the end of the manga?

in the manga stage 92 birthday.
we see Rei pretending to be Yui several times.
The first time she appears in front of fuyutsuki (as Rei) but changes into Yui, the have a conversation with Rei pretending to be Yui but Fuyutsuki notices and flat out asks if she has found Yui (in english; the french verion has him apologizing to Gendo and askingif she has refound her Yui and his aswel?

Then Rei apears in front of gendo in Yui form talking abouth the time just afther Shinji got born it's only confirmed at page 51 that it's Rei as you see her in the shadows.

In stage 95 we see yui underneath the tree together with Gendo the thing is Yui is in orbit between the earth and the moon at this point.

So the person looking like Yui together with Gendo at this scene is this Yui or Rei?

As in the anime, Rei appears to some people as the person they most want to see, as she is collecting their souls. This is not Rei forming a relationship with them.

In the later Viz printing the meaning is as in the French version - he is talking, in his mind, to Gendou.

Then Rei apears in front of gendo in Yui form talking abouth the time just afther Shinji got born it's only confirmed at page 51 that it's Rei as you see her in the shadows.

This implies that Rei appearing to Gendou as Yui is actually also channelling thoughts from yui's soul, I guess. The image showing Rei in the background is merely reminding us that she is driving the process, even though Gendou is seeing Yui.

In stage 95 we see yui underneath the tree together with Gendo the thing is Yui is in orbit between the earth and the moon at this point.

They are not there literally; it is a vision for Shinji, of his parents saying goodbye to him; maybe (like the previous) it is mediated by Rei - but she is no longer a person having individual relationships.

if this is true then the scene beneath the tree is meaningless and is just a story made up by Rei to make Shinji feel happy pointless as moments afther shortly the world resets/get altered (the winter landscape). Where Shinji has some sort of amnesia/different memories (and thus has no recolection of this scene)

If you had to gues on the identity of the women underneath the tree with Gendo, would you say it's either, Rei, Yui, a mirrage created by Rei or something.

Also Yui remains some sort of god yes? Theirs not a single scenario I can imagen where she is together with Gendo at the end. Am I wrong?
