The era of HUGE OPENING WEEKENDS is over. During the summer every weekend won’t see a movie that needs to make half a billion just to turn a profit getting released. People will return to the theater, of that I have no doubt. The social element of it remains appealing and people do want to get out of their homes and they will.... when it’s safe. But It won’t be to the same capacity it was. What studios need to be aware of is once a vaccine is available it won’t be like a switch getting on. It won’t be instant. It’ll take a few years for crowds to really return.
Again, it’s a discussion for another thread.
Back to social media, looks like a figure skater is going to use the music from Thrice Upon A Time’s opening for their next performance. That’s pretty cool! I look forward to seeing what moves are done to that awesome music.
