I am probably going to regret asking this (and get lambasted for it, as well), but have you considered the possibility of going after this girl?

I need car insurance, a job, a better vehicle, and to transfer to another school, which I don't think would be a good idea while on academic probation, then find a place to stay over there. It's possible, but not feasible at the present time.

I know that its just the way you view it but........yeah im gonna say i don't really see that.
Maybe im just selfish but i enjoy being in monogamous relationships, my only problem is i cant even get that, though that is really a totally different rant that belongs in the lonely hearts thread.

Monogamy is not an institution, as marriage is, for instance. Monogamy is merely how some people roll - most people, I'd guess, so long as you admit serial monogamy.

I honestly don't think there exists true monogamy, at least not at the scale we're lead to believe. People in monogamous relationships still find other people attractive, don't they? That means, that on some level, they desire sexual contact with that person who is not their significant other. That desire means they're already cheating. There is no physical cheating, but rather a desire to, and that's really the same thing; it's mental or emotional cheating. At that point, the fidelity has been broken and monogamy no longer truly exists. A wife who has a celebrity crush, a husband who checks out other women on the beach, they've already broken their monogamy, and only leave a false pretense of it.

Recognising attractiveness and enjoying it is not the same as cheating, nor even a desire to cheat. I hope you come to understand that in due course, because it'll make life a lot easier.

That makes practically no sense, if someone looks good they could have a shit personality and forgive me for being shallow but if someone looks like shit im not the kind of person that will jump on them because of their personality, friend yes. lover no.

If im going out with someone its because both their personality and the way they look matches to what i look for in a person or is just plain compatible with me and if i truly grow to care about that person im not going to go do anything with anyone else any-time soon nor will i care for doing that.

Humans can be attracted to attributes of other individuals aside from (and in spite of) their personality. It's pretty obviously not a package deal for everyone.

If they can rationalize the statement, then yes. To simply say someone's doing something wrong without justifying why it would be wrong is just annoying and serves no purpose. To say that what they're doing is wrong, and give reasons for that position, even if the other person disagrees, is perfectly fine with me, even if I'm the target. I'm sure as hell not a perfect person, and I wouldn't call myself a particularly good one, so I'm not immune to criticism, and neither is anyone else.

This is honestly an alien topic to me. If I don't respect someone, I find them unattractive for that reason alone, regardless of appearance. To find someone you hate attractive is just..disturbing. I'm sorry to hear that. Such things suck a great deal, but try looking at the bright side. You had moments of pure animalistic joy with her. And even if fun between two people all the often doesn't work out, whenever it does it is worth all the suffering.

I must be one of the least "rapey" people on the Universe, seeing as though I am asexual (which is not to say ordinary people are potential rapists, obviously), but I'm still able to find people physically attractive regardless of whether I like them on a personal level. Physical attractiveness is objective to a large extent, and while I don't intend to appeal to authority, there have been studies that show this to be true, which allows me to reasonably conclude that attractiveness is measurable, albeit it is debatable whether perfect accuracy is possible, as I would concede that feelings and personal preference play a role in determining one's perception.

Hospital visit for Zap's other Grandma (maternal side) due to her admission yesterday--She's thankfully okay and in good spirits, just something of a health scare.

It's like night and day whenever we spend time with her (82 years old/mentally sound/able to walk) vs the visits with Zap's passed away grandma (92/dementia/arthritic knees).

I've really had my fill of hospitals this past year!
