Still I must admit I'm slightly alarmed by my public perception here if having Char avatar was that shocking. :lol:

I have had male avatars before, in fact by far the two longest living avatars I've had on this forum are of this old geezer fond of collective unconsciousness, individuation process and being massively interesting weirdo in general:

I've lost 125x125 versions to tears of time

Of course since 2010-2011 (hard to say) I've usually had revolving line of Ranka avatars with occasionally some other blob but even then I've had male avatars occasionally. For example me and merri sported Star Driver bromance avatars from series's second ED with me taking Takuto (crop of 0:46 to be particular, I don't have cap anymore apparently).

Similarly from Star Driver I've also used Head:
