Stark will invent Ultron. Either intentionally OR have it be a side effect of his suits gaining their remote powers in Iron Man Three.

Smart move by Marvel since it essentially places Tony Stark at the center of the movie.

Can you imagine the paycheck Downey's getting for this? He's the cornerstone of the marvel cinematic universe and already one of the highest paid actors.

That's why I'm positive Stark will invent Ultron & be the centerpiece of the film. Robert Downey Jr basically bent Marvel over a table recently & had his way with them in order to get a massive (rumored) north of $100 million pay day to cameo in a few Marvel films & feature in Avengers 2 & 3. For that kind of money a studio is not going to settle for his character to flirt around the outskirts of the movie as just one part of the whole piece. Nah, they're gonna put him front & center with the brunt of narrative built around him & his actions.

Posit: Either Jarvis becomes Ultron, or Ultron eats Jarvis to give Tony pathos/character arc.

Well regardless of what his origin is, its great to finally be able to see Ultron on the big screen.

Edit: Forgot to add, doesn't Ultron apearing most likely mean that Vision will appear as well?

Ultron's caused a few superheroes down the years. There's Vision, and a 'grandson' robot. Then Vision and the Scarlet Witch had two spiritual children, Speed and Wiccan.

This kinda complicates the rumor that Agent Coulson was going to be partially rebuilt as a Vision analog, but maybe Ultron's already at work behind the scenes in the Cineverse, taking on a more benign form?

Ha! That was the very first thing I thought of when I heard Ultron was being brought on board.

Brain-wave:
Ultron builds Jocasta, bases her sentience on Pepper Potts' brainwaves instead of those of Janet Van Dyne.

Saw SHIELD. Pretty good. I think they missed an opportunity by failing to have JARVIS tell them how Stark cured Potts.

Here's hoping Coulson will be in Avengers 2 so Ultron can build him into Vision :D

Also, they went right ahead with the phlebotinum, didn't they? Why not just say it was Extremis instead of throwing in all that super-power source shit?

Quick question. Do you need to see the Avengers film to understand what's going on in the show or can it stand on its own?

It stands. They're very thorough in casually establishing the universe.

Ladies & Gentlemen, I present ULTRON. (Or since he's a robot who can upgrade himself, I'm going to assume 1 version of Ultron we'll see in the movie)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmeOjFno6Do- The first teaser trailer for the new avengers movie. I haven't been this hyped for a movie in a long time and this trailer is badass. It definitely has more of a suspenseful and almost horror feel to it with the music playing in the background which is awesome

- Ares rules
- Frank cho rules and twas some of his best work
