Animation goes surprisingly fast. It's the things like lighting, layout, special FX, etc. that take all of the extra time.

I don't see how it would be of any help since Japanese animation workflow is different from most of the world and khara/Weva are also different from the average anime production due to being self-funded. It would only add to a mountain of baseless speculation that's not of any use in the end.

It took 3 years for 3.33 to come out, but 2 years for 2.22.
2-3 years, depending on if the story is "re-improved" like 3.33.
Final will probably take even a while because it's the finale of the series, and they wouldn't want to make their fans upset.

Also...i might be wrong but MOST Animes out there take about 20-22minutes in a full episode production...and also are made between 1 week RIGHT ?

OK....but considering that is a MOVIE not a Anime its harder to produce....so lets add some plus like: "Visual effects - 3D Editing - Final effects - Rush room - Dubbing and soundmix, ETC"

And round-up for 2 WEEKS of production PER 20 minutes.

So... a 100-120 minutes movie should take the MAX of 3 MONTHS to be complete....Now you asked me: Why is taking so long?

Well...i may get a Facepalm for saying this (LOL) but i truly believe that the "fault" is only 1 person....ANNO!! :sniffle:

No. It takes many weeks and they just starts many weeks ahead of the air date.

Relative to what? I'm not saying that this a RULE but i'm taking references for JC Staff (one of the big anime studios out there)....and they production is about 1 week per Ep =P

Either way TV anime =/= feature anime =/= khara anime.

Most other posters aren't so aggressively annoying & pathetically self-depricating. Mr. Jaded Man in another Wastebin who's also Stillborn & has Avatars that bleed out of their eyes & has no reason to live anymore cause a movie upset him.
