There was a typo in my post (put 二 instead of リ), I meant to type

How could I manage to say it was オカエリナサイ (with イ flipped sideway) if I have not watched it before?? I watched it in 1989, perhaps BEFORE YOU WERE BORN!

But KAERE is not the same as "get out".... more like "return". If they really put it out, this means whoever living on Earth are not even recognizing Noriko as originated from Earth, and where can Noriko "return" to? This is why I got confused.

Well you could always shop it to something like キエロ if you wanted to. Instrumentality has a point about the western viewpoint in that, telling someone to go home isn't always telling them literally to go to their home. It can be substituted for "go away".
