I really DO hope we get another of those bracket titles. They are memetastic and it should really have some continuity, I think. Also, I want the last one to be called You will (not) survive. Badly. Oh well, maybe Anno has an even better idea... But... bracket titles. PLEASE.
Speculation: International/Alternate Titles for Q and Final

That was one of your jokes again, was it?
....I hope they do take their own work more serious than that.
The other titles were brilliantly fitting - "You are (not) alone" is about a lonely boy building a homa with friends, family and perhaps a love intrest for himself, where he has to stand alone in a horrible battle, but gradually realizes that the people around him are doing their best to make it easier for him.
"You can (not) advance" is about change/changing for the better - not only because it deviates so much from the original, but because it's all about going forward: "One step in one day, three steps in three days, three steps forwards and only two steps back". The cold, ambitious, jealous elite pilot becomes a kind-hearted hero, the cold, artificial girl becomes a source of genuine warmth and love, the hesitant young boy that never seemed able to decide finds a reason for being here. Of course, there are setbacks, but just by trying, these people (and their creators, who were pretty much chanelling their own whish to change in there) changed, at least a little.
I want more such beautifully perfect titles. The brilliant part is that brackets always mean that you decide whether you want that "not" there...

Hello, figured this would be a good topic to place my first post as it's neutral and non-threatening.
I was thinking something along the lines of "You can [not] succeed" or "You will [not] succeed". I'm leaning toward the latter only because the word 'can' was used in the previous film.
Another good one (at least I think so): You must [not] give up.

I still support "Evangelion 3.00: You shall (not) pass" and "Evangelion Final: Your skill is (not) enough"
"Marduk's Law": "As a Rebuild discussion grows longer, the probability of mentioning the Sequel Theory approaches 1."
