Na the paint wasnt that hard to do it looks nicely done still a tad jumpy at the moment. But the stuff from the manga I change the words slightly as Rei didnt burn her hand in the original eva cartoon. But the wording is still along the lines an still fits.

Ok begining to pack up for the night and head back to base. Just a little update image here so people get an idea where im at. Im finalising all the animation and removing un needed clips. Signing off for the weekend in 30 mins so if I dont post again see ya all next weekend.

as you can see from the image above I havnt done the sounds as of yet. Consider yourself lucky I gave you that other clip to lol. Ill do it this week and give it to you next weekend. Ok everyone im finalising retake 01 just fixong a few clips but I think its now a good time to discuss the music and sounds. What songs if any would be good for what part of the episode also I managed to remove most of the crap from the story and cut the episode down to just over 20 mins (like eva). also where are the best places to sorce sounds from I managed to get ahold of evangleion mugen so that has a few good sounds im going to use.

I just realised that the song "Apologise" is pretty suitable for Re-Take. Perhaps you could use that for the ending...or some other scene? Seriously, though, I think the song is pretty good for something like this.

If you want to use it, it's by Timberland, and hope you don't get caught for copyright infringement lmao.

The opening credits song "ReTake" is staying. I was thinking about during the episode like when Asuka is being strangled by Shinji at the start. Or another I have for when Rei commits suicide and Shinji finds her. But one thing is for sure and I have a very nice sound clip for Asukas death at the end of ReTake 02 (I know dont give it away). Ill post the link

I was trying to keep it more along the lines of songs that would fit certain scenes like from the evangelion ost, black hawk down ost, serenity ost ect...
But ill make up an list of songs I could through together for an ost for this one.

thats where im at for sountrack at the moment although some of these songs will be in instramental vertion in the episodes.

May I give my own input on songs?

Personally, I think we should stick to Re-Take OST and Eva related songs only. I think anything else just simply wouldn't fit.

Here's what I was thinking:


Re-Take OST:

Reincarnation: Somewhere shortly after Shinji's back (or RIGHT after he's back) in the past/AU world.

Girl- When Shinji starts falling for past Asuka.

Double Bind- Possibly one of several scenes: Either when Shinji meets Post-3I Asuka, when he goes to Rei's apartment or when Shinji sees past Asuka after she lost her mind.

The Last Angel- When Shinji gets the news from Post 3I Asuka.

God Bless- When God appears.

Re-Take- Final battle music.

Ever Dream- Shinji's innermost desire, on the hill with Asuka and their child, the final sequence of this? ("Thankyou. Now I know what it is I want to protect.")

Holy Day- Last few scenes of Vol 4 (This other world and "the Real A/S" on the LCL beach are okay), the final notes would play during that close up of Space/the stars.


Evangelion related songs:

~Eva BGM, either from the original series or Rebuild depending on what works better.

~Tsuki no Meikyuu (Moon Labyrinth) sung by Yoko Takahashi- During a "love" scene? (regardless of whether or not it would be implied sex.) It's the perfect song for such.

~Everything You've Ever Dreamed sung by Arianne- Would be great for the End Credits.
