Some one did that already with Unit-03. Then they found a patsy stupid enough to pay them $130(US) for it on e-bay.

Where can people get the kind of layouts for making Evas so good? The eva models in Evarena are almost perfect. My Unit-02 figure is very good. How do they get such good specifications? They all seem pretty consistant.

Yea I found that Foundry FX long ago. Their LEGO models are good, however those models involved the use of self-altered parts which I don't very much favour.

This reminds me of the fact, that I was planing to build an Asuka statue in original size some month ago... but I droped the plan after I estimated the costs of so many LEGO-bricks. :?
Um... Maybe I should build Nigoki, the Eva Series and parts of the Geofront with the NERV pyramid with MLCad in Lego. A fellow student and I actually write a 3D-OpenGL programm that demonstrates different ways of creating realistic shadows in OpenGL. Well... and to show realistic shadows you need something that casts shadows, so we've written an importer for the LDraw LEGO files to use the LEGO Super Car (8880) as the model that casts the shadows. Maybe I could convert the fellow student to NGE, so that we use the Asuka vs. Series scene... XD

Actually I've tried to build Eva-02 sometime ago and I succeeded. It has some movable joints, but it's the same old problem: Lego joints are too weak to support a 50 cm Eva-02... Soon after completion I demolished it.
