okay, 2 basic questions:

  • 1 - is this an officially licensed Gainax AU spinoff? Well, in the same sense that "Shinji Ikari Raising Project" spinoff comics aren't an Anno-written thing or anything but they were "officially licensed"
  • 2 - do we have any idea of what at least the general plot is?

I've seen some basic translations saying that Third Impact didn't happen yet or the JSSDF attack didn't happen, but then again I've seen translated Maya art saying that she's the new science department chief after the JSSDF killed Ritsuko, so....

Anyway:


1) Yes, I'm pretty sure it is.


2) It takes place 3 years after 3rd Impact Tv-series wise, and based on the pictures my beloved Shin-chan is reduced to a Kaji wannabe that's nowhere near as cool. T_T

A diligent study of contemporary anime shows that notionally 17-year old girls often look pre-pubsecent.

I believe it says something about there being "3 Reis" and that it's Rei 1.
Hopefully I'm looking at it wrong 'cause that would be just... :yawn:

We're already getting the 3 Reis in that Petite Eva project for goodness sake!
