Just recently bought volumes 1 and 2 of the manga off of Amazon. Should be a good read. I wanted to get End of Eva as well but that is still crazy high.

I got my copy for around 30 bucks a while back- looked like new, and still had the original cover insert. If you look for long enough, something reasonably priced should pop up for you.

It'll be based on the July cover of Young Ace (Last Stage of the NGE manga). Don't know what issue it'll be released in; but just passing this on for those interested.
