North Face used a color scheme that isn't just bright, but... unintentionally they created a Unit-01 jacket.

Heh, there's a picture of Asuka (and Rei) in that exact pose and outfit (just with a red color scheme) in the Carmine artbook. They even got the hair in the exact same pose.

Yeah, they based the figures on that picture.

I got the 'special color version' so she'd match Rei if I ended up getting her too. The regular version has the normal red color scheme.

A new Rebuild Kaworu statue is coming out. It's plug suit 1/8 scale 21mm statue at 7140 Yen, expected for release in 2011. And it looks like this:

Makes perfect sense that they are based off of plugsuits.

I always felt wetsuits to be awfully similar to Plugsuits anyway.

Having a shrine to a fictional character is generally indicative of a lack of perspective, for starters.

Awesome :D I love the Chromosome figures. I snagged Arael at a con and haven't looked back ;) I also have Sachiel and my gf has Tabris. Always been meaning to get Lilith and Sahaquel though..
