I think the other hand was just generic burn/scar tissue. He only had the creepy eye of god in the one palm as far as we could see.

I would have thought Sadamoto would wait until Q to see how to fit his R/S in the approved cannon.

If this were from a new stage, that would mean it came out over a week ago. I would expect a translation would have been posted to the Eva ML by now.

Also, I do not see a raw posted to THAT BOARD yet.

Asuka's saying her EoTV lines (before the depth-charges & Kyoko awakens in EoE)* and it looks legit. If I have enough $ to buy this volume (I hate not having a source of income), I'll let you all know.

What throws me off is the shading. Everything else looks like YS pretty much, but, maybe I'm wrong, but that doesn't look like Sadamoto's typical shading style. But, I'd have to take a look at some of my manga.

EDIT: I'm looking at 11 now. Most of it looks right, but the shading on the face... I'm not sure....

That's probably because of how he's depicting her. Her eyes are sunken and her cheeks a little more gaunt (at least that's what I get from the shadows around her mouth.) Basically, like someone who's been on the hospital hooked up to an IV for a while.

Well, it looks like that page is indeed from the new Evangelion stage. Hot off the presses from the Evangelion ML:

Two stages in a row, we may yet see the end of this. Probably being pushed forward by the success of Rebuild 2.0, though hopefully Sadamoto doesn't get caught up in the character design of his other manga in Young Ace and start slacking off on Eva again.

Stage 79: The promised time

Makoto: This place wasn't made to withstand invading armies. If the JSSDF launches a full-scale attack, we're screwed.
Shigeru: Now that I think about it, they have been slowly cutting down on our defense budget. Maybe they planned this whole thing from the beginning.
Makoto: Who knows. It's definitely a possibility.
Shigeru: Maya! Release your safety.
Maya: I...can't shoot a gun.
Shigeru: You shot one plenty during training.
Maya: But there weren't any people back then!
Shigeru: Idiot! If you don't shoot, you're dead.

Scene: Misato checking the fallen soldier's transceiver.
Radio: How's it down in the cage?
Radio: We have the purple one secured. No problem with the Bakelite
infusion. The red one was catapulted out. We are currently examining its route.
Misato: Not good, they're trying to prevent contact between Shinji and Unit 01. This is it, Shinji. Stop lying around, we have to hurry! Now, get up!
Shinji: No!
Shinji: Our opponents aren't angels...they're humans. There's no way I could fight them!
Misato: It's kill or be killed.
Shinji: Whatever. You're just like father. You're both the same. You just want to get me in Eva to use me for your own good. I just don't want to hear it anymore. We're just going to die anyways. Father said mankind's going to be destroyed. If we're just going to die, we may as well just die now!
Misato: Wake up! I won't let you do that. I mean, you're still alive. As long as you're alive, there's still something you can do. I'm not like Commander Ikari. It's true I want you to ride Eva just the same, but I don't want you to lose hope. It's not for the sake of anyone else, I want you to ride Eva for your own sake.

Scene: JSSDF closing in on the bridge
Fuyutsuki (on the phone): I don't care. Make securing Terminal Dogma your top priority.
Makoto: They've blown up pretty much everything else, yet they don't lay a finger on this bridge.
Shigeru: They probably want to take care of us with one blow, but the original Magi's sitting right under us, and they likely want to get their hands on it intact.
Makoto: Yeah, but we're not equipped to deal with BC (biological/chemical) weapons. If they bring those out, we're in trouble.
Shigeru: That, or N2 mines.
Makoto: Speak of the devil.
Shigeru: Do those guys not know the meaning of restraint?
Fuyutsuki: They're really going all out.
Maya: No! Just stop it! Why, why do you want Eva so badly?!

Scene: Eva-02 sleeping in the Geofront lake, Asuka inside, waking up to the missile-fire.
Asuka: Where...am I? Entry plug...inside Eva-02?
Asuka: It's not moving. Why? This piece of junk. Oh...I see. The one that's junk here is me.

Scene: Rei, watching the other Rei's disintegrate. Gendo walks up.
Gendo: Rei, you were here after all. The promised time has come. Now, let's go, to the place where you belong.

Pretty much End of Eva as is. Maybe in for Eva-02's battle scene next issue or the one after, seems like there's still quite a bit of steam left in the series.
