Oh no, I just got Asuka. Those other jokers are window dressing (I am a bit tempted to own a Fuyutsuki, though). I just went the eBay route and got her individually. Probably paid a bit too much but it was free shipping.

Ooooh...cheater. Was attempting to avoid eBay. I'll give it a look though.

And what is this "other board" you speak of?

Well, I mean, we saw that one coming. But I'm not sure if that will even fit on a shelf. That thing needs some serious clearance space. The pic actually cuts some off at the top.

That's crazy big.

Yeah I know, but I'm abit of an Eva-02 whore. Sooo, I was sorta hoping we wouldn't hear anything for another month or so, you know...so I can save up for it.

Got a nice spot for it to fit on right ontop of my movie shelf.

Got a new pic of the Revo Eva-02. We're gonna need some serious room to display this one.

So, Revoltech #124... I can't make out the date below, but I assume, if the keep their monthly release dates we'll be seeing this beauty in October (given that #123 will be released in September)...
Damm... Does that mean another "preliminary" version and a "movie color" version AGAIN?

The base is significantly larger...
4450-4480 yen... I guess the shipping will also be significantly more expensive...
Also, on the (insert name for the space navigation device here) of the left I can see something gray holding the EM-Crossbow...
Is it an unpainted prototype?

There's a RD Eva-00 up now on Mandarake for cheap if anyone is interested.

Link

Also a SPEC Eva-02 is up for 1000 yen less than I paid for mine, hard to find one for this cheap. Kind of wish I had waited now that I see that one.

Link

Oh! and if anyone is searching for a figure in particular, let me know, I'll keep my eye out for it on my daily browse through Mandarake. It can be abit confusing on how to find certain items.

EDIT:
Just posted up my review on the RD Eva-01 Awakening version!

To me it looks like the two "shields" to either side are unpainted prototypes. It does look like we'll be getting another crossbow, it being able to mount to the "shield" is pretty cool and having that crossbow sorta makes sense for space over a pallet rifle.

EDIT: or now that I look at it closer, looks like on the other side of the left "shield" is another Eva-02 holding the crossbow. Since her left arm is grey now instead of white. Still don't like the new head, I understand why it's like that, I just need to warm up to it. It doesn't have that "love at first sight" syndrome that I got when I first saw Rebuild's Eva-02

I don't mind the grey left arm, its the head that bothers me. Eva's have always had this organic look to them and something so...mechanical looks horribly out of place to me. I'll warm up to it eventually, probably when I see the movie, till then? I'm trying to keep an open mind about it.

Then again, it could just be the Eva-02 whore I am and always seeing my 02 a certain way. Changing that just seems to cause a runtime error in my brain.

Either way, this figure is a pre-order for me once they open up.

EDIT: I guess we could call Rebuild Eva-02 Evangelion's second "true" cyborg in the classical sci-fi sense of metal limbs grafted to flesh. First with 05's legs and arms. Now with 02's right side of her head and left arm (pure guess that the left arm is mechanical, could just be a spare left arm).

I have to pass on this one, because i'm low on funds. My money is all tied up waiting for the new EvaEvo eva units(How many there will be, don't know.) and the S.H.Monsterarts Zeurel and Sacheal. Those gonna be wallet raping so I gotta pick and choose now and the Revo#124 02 doesn't offer enough new stuff cept a gun and shields. Need ANGELS NOW!

Has there been any new news on those Angels? I'll definitely be adding them to my collection, would just like to know when and for how much.

Many new pics from GUNJAP and from a link in the main page of the forum...

For what I can see, it is a faithful reproduction of the new Eva 02 (compared to the Tv airing and the EvaExtra trailer)...

Also, the dates I gave are true, release October 15th, price 4480 Yen... About $50 Us... Quite expensive compared to the others...

Also, the (insert name for weird space device thingie) seems to be a one-piece gadget...

Also... The gun is BIG

Horrid [s:2emao32s]mech[/s:2emao32s] bio-mechanical abomination is horrid! Big guns do not change this. Will wait to see what else Q produces.
