Just received shipment notification from BBTS on my Awakening 01 and Beast 02.

Arael- Looks good so far, one thing though, it seems your doing a Rebuild-esque color scheme for 04. The shoulder polygons (pentagons?) should be green on the bottom to match the other 4 Evas. And the piece that attaches the knee armor to the shin armor should be painted something other than silver, such as on 01 it is green, on 02 it is white.

That's how i'd do it atleast.

Well, I followed more closely the oficial color so...
I you notice, Eva 01 has more highligths that any other Eva so I think it should NOT be used as a highligth-location reference...
In my opinion, the color should resemble Evas 03 and 02, being the other production model units....

lol i just noticed the EvaEvos have paneling for the feet(I was looking at the 2.0 versions which do not have paneling) so nevermind this should be an easy repaint,mostly silver with a splash of red and black here and there.The hard parts will be the head and shoulder symbols but youll be alright......

And man why does RD 01 photographs blue when in perseon its purple lol.....wierd.....

I found that weird also, in every photo i've seen of RD 01, its a blue-ish color. In person it's definitely purple. Could just be an effect of the color/plastic used.

Areal- White for which part? Knee or shoulder symbol? Shoulder symbol should definitely be green on bottom and red/yellow on top to tie in with the rest of the Eva series. As for the knee, I'd be worried about the white blending in with the silver and all but disappearing.

A hybrid look between the TV series berserk mode and the Rebuild design. And apparently, swapping parts, change the reds to green and recoloring the arm are not going to be enough.

Theyre from the Evangelion Pachinko arcade game,Its a weird game were you line up images of eva characters(sorta like slot machines) and when you win you get treated to a anime short, which the Eva 04 is in one of them.So far its the only officially animated short of 04 that I know of.

Well no new Robot Damashii Evangelion news at Tamashii Festival 2011 and with wonderfest next week i doubt will get any new news this summer.The RD Eva line might be dead for the time being at least til 3.0 comes out.

Hmmm... Notice in the left pic that the shoulder polygon is white bottom/yellow top?
Besides, the scheme does not differentiate dark gray and black...
Yet the 2 figures of Eva 04 there are have black arms...

As for the knees, I watched that video, they lowest part is white, the upper one is dark gray and the top is red...

Hey... Foud a video review of the Mini Eva 04...

For what I can see there's a difference between the black arms and back border of the pylons and the torso's dark gray...
Except for the dark gray nose-plate there are no differences with my scheme...
