OMG... I remember WAY back when Stikfas first came out, there was a photo of Ban YJ's (the creator of Stikfas) personal studio, and on his desk appeared to be a Stikfas figure that he was customizing to look like an Eva. When someone pointed this out on a message board that Ban YJ visited, he revealed that he was an Eva fan. I thought this was cool, but I never dreamed they'd actually be mass-producing and selling Eva Stikfas! :D

And don't worry, cat42, I'm sure the others will get figures eventually. It's not as if recolors and slight variations on existing figures are new to the Stikfas line. :P

Although I first I was rather um, surpised to see Kaworu aka Tabiris in female form, I guess under the circumstances (Adam= female and Adam's soul and all), it makes sense, huh?

Though I'm kinda disappointed with how Lilith looks, they could have at least made Rei somehow look more...spiffier. ^^;

Don't you know about Kaworu's dark secret? If you look in the right place, you will find vazhin (sp.) but no khram (sp.)! She is very flat girl, no?

Aside from the pigmentation, the Tabris XX really looks nothing like Kaworu. Not much needs to be changed to make Kaworu 'acceptably female'.

New Eva-01 Chogokin (pic inside)

Postby felineki » Sat Nov 11, 2006 11:40 pm

Click for pic.
Slated for a December release, I believe.

Personally, I think the proportions look much better here than they did on the Soul of Chogokin Evas. This one seems to be much taller if the comparison pic near the lower-left features a SoC Eva-01 (seems that's what it is).

Most interesting feature is obviously the removable armor. The patterns on the body look to be pretty accurate to Yamashita's concept drawings. The bare body's proportions seem a little funny, but seeing as it has to fit inside the armor and stuff, I can understand why it's like it is.

Abesnt, it seems. Yamashita's "Basic Body" drawings didn't show a core, did they? This figure seems to be based off of those drawings. Of course there SHOULD be a core there anyway, but I guess no one realized that.

Here's another sotai pic. Sadly, looks like the head is just as awful as all previous figure/model attempts. Yamashita needs to go discipline Bandai's sculptors harshly.
