While there's nothing inherently wrong with critiquing a performance, something just rubs me the wrong way about her tone.

After this latest behaviour, I'm not even surprised anymore.

Not familiar with the old English dub but they may have followed the original and cast a woman to play Shinji this time. (Update: According to her Wikipedia page the new English Shinji actor is a transgender woman. I like that.)

The Director Cuts of episode 21 to 24 seem to be the only versions of those episodes available. Stronger versions. Makes sense.

STRANGE DEVELOPMENT: The end credits no longer feature various rendition of FLY ME TO THE MOON. They just use Rei’s theme instead. Feels... wrong.
Maybe a rights issue?
