i've got that special release of the two films, but my case is differant......it is an english version though and not astralion (hope i spelt that right.....probably not- i'm so crap it this)

i still haven't whatched it- i thought the only differance was that they're in a box together. but that would explain the 'special edition' part wouldn't it  well, that's getting whatched tonight.

Jesus Christ... okay, I am surprised that there will be a re-release of EoE, but it is simply the exact same two dvds in a box! Platinum was a re-release of eva with improved everything and at least some special features. This is the exact same as what I already own... goddamn.
As of now, I am very happy with my DTS Collector's Ed. of Death (true)^2 and EoE - the Japanese version without subtitles. It is BEAUTIFUL.
This "new" Manga release will not compare to the slightest extent.

People claim that spelling doesn't matter, but at least in URLs it still does.

This is really, really not cool, because I can't watch EOE on my TV, because my tv's widescreen. Can't ADV get the rights for it or something, so I can get a damn Animorphic widescreen version of the frig'n movie, I mean why is Manga being so greedy, why do they have to fuck us over......Again......jesus....

NO ONE WANTS REBIRTH DAMNIT! What ever happened to following the renewal path like ADV - which I am still disappointed with (Platinum, that is).

nyaa? Yeah, of course there not going to release renewal, I think they would have to get new rights to it, and I don't think that's going to happen, but the least they could do is release something I could watch. (again complaining about there lack of support for widescreen tv's)
