It would be nice though I personally want it for the sake of completeness. Even just the head and fake LoL arm equipment on a 'regular' body like the one shown in CRC would be nice.

Really excited, a friend vacationing was able to get me the RAH Eva Unit-00! Did me another favor and asked about a Unit-03, and the possibility of Angel figures. For the former he got something to the effect of 'We'll do our best', which thankfully wasn't a straight up no like I was fearing; on Angels the person got surprised and said they hadn't planned anything yet/couldn't say any more though.
Just waiting on a box pic or two for when he gets back to the place he was staying at.

I had this silly idea that I'd get 2x Eva-01 kits in november and just convert one to 02alpha because it seemed like a fun project to have a go at. Now that just seems pointless.

But then again, Kotobukiya is slow as hell....they're even sayind just 2014 release at this point, not even narrowing down to season.

Anyone have the plugsuit RAH figures? How limiting is the rubber/fabric to the range of motion and how stiff are the joints?

I am totally fine with two heads and an extra arm though I'd like them as two of them to display both at the same time. I suppose the big shield from 3.0 most likely will come with the Q version kit.

Should do a project to turn unit 01 to awakened state instead! (or mod the torso to make it NGE version.)

I doubt we'll get the reentry shield as well.

Base kits itself is 5,400 yen for 01, so should be similar for 02.

Giving and extra arm and head doesn't add that much, but those shield are HUGE and would be massive pieces of plastic. plus they'd have to make the whole linkage between the Eva and the shields. That just seems too much to me to stuff in one box, crossing the line from 2-in-1 deal into an overpriced niche product.


As far as making an awakened 01, that doesn't appeal to me since I already have an abandoned project like that from many, many years ago...

Yeah, I don't expect them to include the shield to alpha/beta kit. And I know the shield is huge but considering Unit 02y basically has an extra arm equipment and the lance, I'd like it if they did add something though...maybe the portable charger at least if not the shield.

Is it just me, or is the revoltech eva 02 beta a brighter red than in the movie? Even in the image above^ it looks a bit darker? Seeing as how they messed up a little on the tone of pink for the 08 release, I'm a little worried
