Now, I know people are pretty much good for their money, and I know that this would work. But the question I ask myself, is who do I sell the few (if any) rare items I come across?

1. First come first serve.
2. Ebay auction
3. Trivia contest
4. Best essay contest

Just a few ideas. Anyone got any?

Dear God! Some people just need to die! I went through the jpqueen.com link that Eva Monkey provided. I was ready to shoot somebody. It's one thing for characters to be all yaoi in an anime, or for somebody to draw a yaoi manga, but it is a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT situation to use other people's characters as sick pawns in your own yaoi manga! SnapexDraco Harry Potter fan mangas THAT BREAKS LAWS! VincentxCid FF7 mangas cripes on toast! CloudxSquall? They aren't even in the same reality!

Sorry for the rant. It's not that I'm homophobic. Or against yaoi in general (as long as it fits with the character's orginal idea). It's that I'm sick of people taking the liberty of twisting around some of my favorite characters into their perverted fantasy situations that put them in situations that could would never happen!

Fuck yaoi.

But that's a topic of another discussion.

I'm leaning most towards an Ebay auction. I know I shouldn't try and make money through the site, but here's my reasoning...

This site costs me money, and if I can negate hosting costs, that means I can do this site for free, and if necessary, I can pass it on to someone without them having a financial obligation. I have to consider the possibility that I simply won't be able to work on this site anymore, and I'm very concerned about the permanence of Eva Monkey.

It's anime and manga focused on gay couplings aimed towards women. Not always straight out hentai.

I'd soooo love a copy of 2015 and the Red Cross Book. I'm leaning towards eBay auction. God, my Eva merchandise is growing :x

I'm thinking the best way of doing it is by eBay. Take what I have to spend on the book, and let you guys go at each others' throats. :P

I think the hassle of dealer's room, setting up auction, mailing, and pay pal deserves a modest profit.

Hopefully I'll get more than one cool book. At Katsucon, One vendor had multiple copies (at least two) of 2015, and all three theatrical program books, RCB included.

And Katsucon isn't as big a deal as Otakon. So there ought to be some cool stuff on the floor. So several people will be getting something cool undoubtadly.

Perhaps I'll do a trivia competition for a pick of any of what I get, if I get multiple cool things.

And I hate to say it, but you better hope I get more than one Red Cross Book, because I WILL be keeping one for myself. :twisted:

Books such as the Red Cross book tend to be handed out at most movie premeirs. I've got one from ROTK. And they are amazing, I wish I had a copy of an Eva one...

Okay, yet again, I'm going off topic here, but it appears that I am among fellow anti-hentai-yaoiists. A friend of mine point this comic out to me. It's about dealing with yaoi fanatics and fangirls. The comic it comes from is a godzilla fan comic called neo monster island. The site has 'questionable' material on it so it you plan on exploring it be weary.

To help those who might not understand kaiju = fucking huge monster.
