Its the title that speaks for itself, and i'll start us off.
BTW, I posted this as an incentive to get people out and looking for good stuff instead of e-baying it. If the mods don't like, plz just merge this. But keep in mind, this also helps local businesses which most comic shops are.
Anyway down to business.

I found these at legends in Towson. Nice secondhand place that caters to the hardcore americom nerd, but they sometimes have some gems of Japanese merchandise.

@Killerbee should he see this:
You may want to get a trusted individual in baltimore, say a family member, to grab that above item for you.

Apparently they had a Shinji, but someone nabbed it. That made me a sad panda for a quarter hour.

Then I saw these on a back shelf.

The Unit-00 was in questionable condition, but the Unit-02 was flawless, and it came with not only Asuka but, drum roll please *insert drum roll*, Israfel!
Nice hauls for me if I hadn't been broke. But they can be nice hauls for a Baltimore area evageek who has the money.

So just post eva stuff you have found in hobby stores. Don't forget to post a name and location.

I found and bought this figure at my local comic store.

I also bought my Evangelion Perfect Collection DVD set off some random dude in the mall for $40, which also came with the 2004 Appleseed for free. He had been trying to sell it at Gamestop, but they wouldn't buy it because it was too old.

Damn you Gamestop! The only thing odd is your face(s)!

Nice Sachiel too, original series I presume?

If it makes you feel any better, there is no Shinji in that figure line. They were screwing with you. :ehh:

Anyway, you're damn lucky to have a shop that sells stuff like that. The only nerd stores within driving distance of me cater solely to the DC/Marvel crowd, which I have absolutely no interest in. 'Tis hard to be an otaku in Central Florida...

It wasn't those, they just sold a Shinji figure in particular. Crossed wires. You should see if you have friends or family over here. Either that or roadtrip it. There is a hostel in downtown Baltimore.

There aren't any articulated ones, though.

I'll be going to MegaCon in March, so hopefully I'll find some neat Eva stuff to bring back. I've been to a couple anime cons this year but the merchandise turnout was disappointing. The last one I went to in October had basically every Eva figure that I wasn't looking for.

SPOILER: Show

You know, I think we did this exact same skit in another thread a couple months back.

Fräulein(Name of the figure line you guys posted) means Young Lady/Ojou-sama in german.

I highly doubt that they´re going to make a Shinji one.

Is "umlaut" spelled with an umlaut?

I know what Fraulein means, and I don't think anyone here was under the impression that a Shinji was going to be made in that particular line.

It would be nice though. Then I could fulfill my dirty little SxA related fantasies. It would be like reading plugsuit fetish 24/7. I would never get out the house.

Most of the merch I own was actually bought in the wild, back when online shopping was unknown or taboo.
I have a lot more scattered around my room, probably inside boxes. here's some stuff I had handy and took a pic:

Image

apart from the books, there's a Sega eva01 in berserk mode from episode 19, with the exposed arm, it also had an exchangeable no-helmet head, but it seems I lost it... the cards are part of a Sega collection, they came in a black Nerv paper, and only 1 of the cards came inside it. The Shinji one I got it from buying it at the local comic store, the other 2 (which are special cards, apparently rare) I bought from some guy at some weird event. The 2 SD keychains, I found them recently, I thought they were lost... well, the chain is lost, but that doesn't matter. I'm not sure if they are official or not... I bought them loose at the local store also, I used them a lot as actual keychains when I was 13 or so, heh.

To be honest, they're one of my favorite pieces in my collection

Found almost the entire Perfect collection at my library as well as a few platinums. Ripped them to my computer for release quality comparisons. Shit was SO cash.
Borders had the DVD for 1.0 too.

My friend bought an Asuka wallet in a store and it broke down after a week or something.

Steer away from anime wallets, or just don´t use them.

Poor Asuka wallet. Give it a proper burial my friend.

I've been using an Asuka wallet for a year. I even lost it outside but I got it back.

This is a thread about Evangelion merchandise we have found in real life, not on the internet. I do like that wallet though.
