For me, the highlight of FLCL was the South Park parody.

-On EMF, as a thread becomes longer, the likelihood that fem-Kaworu will be mentioned increases exponentially.
-the only English language novel actually being developed in parallel to its Japanese version involving a pan-human Soviet in a galactic struggle to survive and to export the communist utopia/revolution to all the down trodden alien class and race- one of the premise being that Khrushchev remains and has abandoned Lysenko stupidity

Also, there's a South Park parody on FLCL, or is dat sum sarcasm?

I have the OVA at home, my step-brother give it to me. Though I must ask: Will marathoning it seeing as I only saw one episode (English-dubbed, 3 I think) make my head hurt? Or will I be laughing as hard as I laugh at Excel Saga?

Marathoning it will only take 3 hours, so it's definitely doable. Though, I'd recommend watching it dubbed for that, since the text is going to run pretty damn fast. And no, not sarcasm, there is a South Park parody in FLCL.

For me, it was the gunfight immediately afterwards, and then the robot with the giant C96.

As Amaro said, "That's unreal."

We had to do a project about FLCL actually. We had to explain the unexplainable and managed to get 103 :P

I assume 103 is good coming from an Otaku :?:

Actually a majority of our schools in Texas are starting to do this. Even the major universities. Currently, Richland College is doing it and the school I'm going to transfer to is also, UNT. UT, UTD, A&M and others are in the process of debating whether to add it to their curriculum.
