I'm really not sure she's a tsundere, given that she's fairly up front about her affections. She just knows her place. And hates it.

And on that note, hooray for love interests who know they aren't gonna win but make an effort to make their true loves happy anyway. Hikari does it in NnA, pretty much everyone does it in White Album, Takao and Hyuga do it here, etc. It's nice to see people don't have to resort to yandere dickitude just because they learn life sucks on occasion.

Wasn't satisfied with my Christmas Rei avatar so I changed it into something better thanks to this artist here. It's based on the doctored image still of a smiling Death and Rebirth Rei making a cheesy grin, an avatar I had back then when I first joined here. The Santa Claus hat is additional bonus as well. What you do y'all think?

I think the hat is at the totally wrong angle (compared to the rest of Rei) and the more I look at it the more it bothers me. Her being able to wear it also seems physically impossible (as in, violates the principles of physics).

I'm still going to be gone from the forums for a while, but I decided that it would be important to make a post on the anniversary of my join date.

It's been one full year with you guys. In that time, I've made friends, lost friends, and posted my ass off. :lol:

The discussions about Eva have been amazing. Before I came here, I had always wanted somewhere that I could just cut loose with my Evangelion nerdery. I found that here. Posting with you guys has been incredibly fun, and I wanted to thank you for it. I love being part of this community. I do think that there are a few props necessary, though.

Props to Stryker for being the only guy to welcome me to the forums in the welcome thread.

Props to Squigsquasher for just being there for me through thick and thin. You daffy bint. I kid, I kid.

Also, ModSquad? You guys are total badasses for keeping the forum running day in and day out. I'm sorry for my avatar bullshit earlier in the month.

And that brings me to why I'm making a solitary post in the WTF avatar thread. As some of you know, I planned to make it to Elder God this year. That didn't happen, but I did make it to God. As of such, my avatar will reflect that until I change it to something else. Have a good time, guys!
