Back to Tiffany from Girls' Generation. Because I love with her. Actually, more like I'm just a regular fan of her, but she is awesome. Except her personality is kind of obnoxious, so more her singing. Actually, she's probably the least consistent of the main vocalists in Girls' Generation and she is usually off-key live.

So um... I guess I really like her a lot and this picture of her is amazing. It was already my avatar several months ago but whatever it's beautiful.

I don't associate the Spike avatar with riffraff. Every time I see it I have to remind myself "Oh right, that's riffraff". And yet I never had trouble with any of his previous ones.

I learn to associate all of our member's pictures with themselves, given a week or so. Monk, when I first came here, you had that person with lightning coming out of their hands. That image was you, until you got the guy you currently have. I adjust to these things.

Same here, it takes me a few days to get used to people's new avatars. Hell, it takes me a few days to get used to my own. I have a completely different personality on the forum/Skype/IRC than I do in meatspace.

Some avatars suit their bearers well and some don't. That's what I'm saying.

Most of what ruins the Spike avatar is the intrusive lettering. It makes the avatar look less like an avatar and more like what it is, a hasty cutout of something else. The title isn't even entirely contained within the picture, not that it would be much better if it was -- it just doesn't belong at all.
