What are this images in EoE?

The pics are shown at the very start of the thread.

They happen in EoE after Sho/the Tree of Life enter Lilith (after the Shinqurarim bit).

It's towards the end of the short Instrumentality "break up lines" sequence. I believe the pictures mentioned start around Misato's saying "Do you want to become one with me, blah blah blah" then Asuka's "But if it's with you I'd rather die."

i have devoted significant time to trying to decipher these images, but I can't even do the 3D-image magic eye thing; my mind just unfocuses when I look at these montage images

it's actually much easier to make them out if you just watch them in motion. I think Reichu nailed the last image, personally.

I have Renewal EoE; screenshot's on my old laptop with the monitor that stopped working so I have to hook it up to a second monitor to see anything. I'll upload it if you'd like, but it still doesn't really look like anything.

Warning - lots of images. High quality (unless ptui-bucket mangles them) grabs from the sequence.

I think it's a woman in various states of undress with shots from the series mixed in; eg. Asuka and Rei from the OP - Misato loosening her hair when she speaks on her cellphone, etc.

first one: Misato in the middle pulling out her hairtie from EoE while Asuka and Rei from the OP on either side. Woman's leg and not sure what else

second: Same/similar thing (though I think I see part of that naked Rei image from episode 14 and 25...hard to tell though)

third: The entry plug in the middle? Rest of the girl's bodies

fourth: Misato and Kaji holding hands from 20, not sure what else is there

fifth: Misato from the opening in the background, hand holding from 20, and a sketch of either Misato or Asuka in cut off shorts, I'm leaning towards Misato because it looks similar to what's worn in the OP.

sixth: Far too much of a mess for me to figure out. Though I think it could be Rei's legs from that 14/25 image

seventh and etc: I'll try to figure out the rest later

As an aside, I'd hope Ground work makes those things clearer with the sketches and all that.

the little sketches are the most interesting to me:

3=Rei in towel
6=Misato in daisy dukes on the floor
7=Asuka in sundress/nightie held from behind
8=hand on boob
9=Asuka on her back in blue short-shorts... and hand between her legs?
10=Misato in panties on all fours.

12=legs are kneeling, not sitting, and blood is falling in stream before mixing with water on floor

The supine female figure appears to have the left arm by her side and another across her belly. Over the top we have a pair of clasped hands -- perhaps a couple hand in hand, and at least one more image as well as the liquid blobs.

Like I said before, I'm pretty sure the couple hand in hand is that Episode 20 shot of Kaji and Misato. It looks like that shot at any rate.

What are this images in EoE?
