Some nitpicky things about instrumentality

Soooo not sure if this has been brought up before, but why does Keel MELT during complementation, while the rest seem to pop? Is it because of his cyborg-awesomness?

Also, Aoba Hyuga, and Kouzo seem to pop completely while Maya's hand doesn't pop for some reason. Probably just dramatic effect, but any theroies?

I'm going to say there's nothing behind it. Though if forced to, I'd say the air pressure in KEEL's room was greater and Rei was poking people with needles.

perhaps the amount of body mass was too little for a "sploosh", which perhaps is caused by the near instantaneous change of density from body mass to LCL. Keel had lots of stuff that wasn't turned into LCL, therefore, not much of a "sploosh"

not sure i should have made a new thread or not but the title of this thread fits my questions quite well.

i just watched EoE and have a couple of questions:

1) SEELE say they wanted 3I because mankind reached its evolutionary dead end and so everyone will be joined as one being. Is this being LCL? isnt LCL the primordial soup, from where all life originated in the first place? then after 3I wouldnt life start evolving all over again, first cells, then plants, then animals then humans, and so after so many years after 3I mankind will reach the evolutionary dead end again and so SEELE plan was pointless?

2) A Seed of Life included the Spear of Longinus so that the SoL will do what the FAR wanted. Adam had a Spear which after 2I was retrieved by NERV. Where is the Spear that should have been in the black moon then?

3) At the end of EoE we see Yui in space with the Spear. Was this to stop someone like SEELE from making another 3I in the future? or did she basically become a Seed of Life herself and would start life somewhere else in the universe? or maybe both?

Instrumentality is NOT just turning people into LCL, this was done merely to release human souls from their bodies, SEELE's actual goal was to join every human soul into a single entity in order to create a perfect state of existance.

According to the CI it was likely destroyed when Lilith crash landed on Earth.

I HAVE NO BLOODY CLUE, we don't know about Yui's plans completely, so it's pretty hard to tell.

Actually, the CI says it's a "safety device", which could be interpreted as something the FAR pair with each seed so that the seed (Adam/Lilith/etc.) doesn't do something the FAR doesn't want them to do

Those are both popular theories. There's aren't that many other reasons Yui would float around "very lonely" in space for eternity.

The tentative consensus is both. All the remaining Angelic/Adamic constructs (the harpies, the Rei/Lilith/Kaworu/Adam Shekinah, and even EVA-01 herself for a while, until she has departed far enough) are petrified at the end, preventing that particular path from being taken prematurely again. But Yui-sama has displayed the 12 wings that seem to indicate godhead/Seed-status, and the flashback to the reservoir supports that.
