Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. It's on PS1 and Saturn too, so it isn't exclusive, I admit. As for exclusives, Gears of War and Dead Rising to name a few... Wii has Trauma Center and Sonic. Those are pretty awesome. PS3 just doesn't have many exclusives right now... I'm sure it'll pick up when more good exclusives come out.Mundane wrote:Name me off the SUPER excellent games for the Wii and Xbox360.
Your console sucks.

ITS NOCTURNE IN THE MOONLIGHT GET IT RIGHT!!!! (A side effect of listening to official game soundtracks, you see.)
That game was cool. Like Metroid with the undead instead of aliens. Mmm, Metroid...

Please. I'm more than certain it will be the same stupid games I hear about everyday.
Well, for the Xbox 360, there's...
Project Gotham Racing 3 (and soon, 4)
Gears of War
Halo 3
Shadowrun
Too Human
Huxley
Earth Defense Force 2017 (some people say that this game's fun as hell, despite the flaws, and it's worth a shot)
Dead Rising
Lost Planet
Ace Combat 6
and of course, there's the multiplatform games that are better on X360
Need for Speed Most Wanted
Need for Speed Carbon
Virtua Fighter 5
Devil May Cry 4
Too many more to count... oh, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Live Arcade. 8)

NINTENDO!!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!?
I had been hoping for something a bit more "progressive", myself. And whose physical profile would actually, you know, take into account such distinctive things as the rather broad shoulders Samus exhibits when suited.
Yeah, right. A plague upon whoever designed that evil blonde Samus!

*slinks away, embarrassed*
...The only Metroid game I've played is Super Metroid... ^^; I like how Samus looks when she explodes(??) when you get a Game Over. It took me awhile before I realized she was a girl, lol.
Which I never got around to beating. -_- The problem when I play games is I always get stuck at a part location-wise or character's exp points wise and never know where to go from there. I must remember the magic of sites such as GameFAQs!

I have never thought of who Samus Aran looked like until now. But, um, just how (or exactly what kind of) "progressive" were you hoping for? Elizabeth C. Stanton? Susan B. Anthony? Eleanor Roosevelt? Hillary R. Clinton? Arianna Huffington? Or were you referring to the female form in general? Just wonderin.'Reichu wrote:Executor wrote:Metroid was Cool. "Progressive" in the sense of not reducing Samus to a 'blonde super model' type who wouldn't even be able to fit into her own spacesuit.

She can morph into a ball. If you can believe that, getting into a space-suit es no problemo.
I always thought it was cool that they made Samus the way she is. I can't really say it any better without making myself look like an ass.
God, Apparently you all have been discussing Q since November. Catching up on the discussion is harrowing.

I knocked off all the games that are pretty much heard about everyday.
How would you know if Devil May Cry 4 is better on the 360 if the game hasn't even been released yet?
Fanboyism to the MAX.

Super Smash Brothers (maybe not so much "vision.")
Resident Evil 4 (Oh my god amazing)
Pikmin
Ocarina of Time
Halo (im biased because it was my first real modern fps, and i spent so much time with good friends playing it)

Name off the super excellent games for the PS3.
The Wii is currently the best system in my opinion... Of course I don't really care about all the special stuff that the systems are peddling (browsing the internet on your console? Meh, I have a computer for that. Watching DVDs on your console? Meh, I have a DVD player for that and blu-ray? No... Not the time yet.) So it comes down to which system I have more fun playing, which is currently the Wii...
And Samus is totally hot.
Damn it, got me there.
Although that wasn't my point. The point was him rehashing how the Xbox360 was beyond amazing and had a MULTITUDE of vast gaming awesome.
When really, it doesn't.

Glad to know that you weren't being a PS fanperson. The Xbox doesn't really have that many good titles in my opinion and yeah, most of those titles listed are very common titles. Then again, all systems now have their predictably popular games.

Half-Life and Counterstrike > Halo.
I played Halo and Halo 2 a few times and just can't stand it. As an FPS I consider it sub-par. It never caught my interest. This is just an opinion, though.
And no, Xbox Live isn't all that great... The Internet's infinitely better.

halo 2 sucks. xbox live halo 2 is.. eh. okay. best if you play with your RL friends.
Counterstrike sucks. its just... mindless. worse than halo 2 in that respect. I always feel nostalgic for the days of playing halo 1 on the pc. That was a great game, although it was never nearly as popular as the console version.
