Just finished StarTropics. Great game.

I'm working on Super Contra, which is super hard. I've managed to get to the boss of level 5. No Konami code for me.

Miles Edgeworth: Ace Attorney Investigations and The Sims 3 (PS3 Console Version)

In AAI, the first case is surprisingly challenging.
I'm still playing Dead Rising 2 as well and I've been procrastinating on Medal of Honor.

How does that work on a console? That sounds weird to me.

I played the original on the PS2. The analogs were like the mouse. Besides that it was pretty easy after you got used to it.

I just got Fallout 3 and can't get into it. And this is from someone who played the crap out of Oblivion (even though I liked Morrowind 100x better).

Anyway, Black Ops can't be released soon enough! I'm sick of MW2 and those crazy-ass Perks.

Don't worry, there'll be brand new and some of the same perks to love in Black Ops.

The beginning of FO3 is atrocious, once you get into it it becomes amazing, at least that's how it was for me...

I played Fallout 3 for a whole week straight one time and I still didn't get very far.. You can't do that with very many games. It has it's share of glitches and issues but it's definitely an all time favorite game. I'd like to try New Vegas when I get the chance to pick it up.

New Vegas is being frustrating... random wanderings keep putting me in the path of things that are clearly not meant to be fucked with at this point in the game (if not the occational invisible wall in the mountains...grrr), but following the plot encounters feels pathetically easy by comparison.

The worst (or best?) moment by far was when I decided to try clearing out a cave full of night stalkers by very, very carefully luring them out of the inner den one by one and shooting them from the relative safety of standing on a boulder. However, as soon as I took a satisfied step back onto the world map I was immediately ambushed by easily twice as many night stalkers as I just had trouble with, standing right at the edge of the cave entrance! I thought I was going to have to start a new game, but after several reloads I finally manged to get out of it with a few lucky dynamite tosses, which I was only able to survive by loading up on combat drugs and changing to a less damaged set of armor between the initial critter ambush and my explosions going off.

Lunar: Silver Star Harmony. Wanted to see what all the fuss is about for this series.

First impressions are not so good. The dialogue is very poorly written; we've got characters awkwardly mentioning names, plot points and character motivations in hugely inappropriate places. An acute case of telling and not showing. It's like a bad anime or something.

Oh, and Spike Spencer's in it. He voices (badly) the evil guy at the start and a little flying cat thing called Nall. Good gravy. THAT IS NOT ACTING, MISTER SPENCER! THAT'S JUST YOU TRYING TO SOUND AS SHRILL AND ANNOYING AS YOU CAN POSSIBLY BE!

Does...does it get better?

I, too, am currently playing this. :) If you focus on the game, it isn't so bad.

I'd go with New Vegas myself. Fallout 3 is only like $20 now, so your better off buying that on your own, and making someone else shell out the real cash for the newer game.

Alpha Protocol (Not as bad as I've been led to believe. Still pretty rough around the edges, though.)
Batman: Arkham Asylum (Best. Superhero. Game. EVER. That is all.)
The Bourne Conspiracy (Not very long, but satisfying while it lasts.)
Darksiders (Not bad at all...if you can get over the heavy God of War/Zelda idea-thievery that permeates it.)
Fallout 3 (Nothing quite like going back to an old friend. Still one of the best games in the last five years.)
Wanted: Weapons of Fate (Short and kinda easy, but pretty cool...and I got it for free. So yeah, that helps.)

Is it the same as the PC version since I have the game for the PC, but never got it to work since my PC can't run the game? I always enjoy the Sims games, and I might pick it up soon next week.
