Any Mii Artisans here?

I know, I am a gigantic dork for making this thread.

For the uninitiated, Nintendo's Wii game console has a tool for making ultra-simplistic personal avatars -- "Mii"s -- that can be used in some of their games. Here's mine:

Image

Some folks get a bit more into it and try to push the limitations of the "Mii Channel" to create Miis of celebrities, historical figures, fictional characters, and whatever else.

My artistic side got piqued, and I've ended up making quite a few (and hitting the obnoxious 100 Mii limit over and over again). Just a phase, to be sure, but I'm having fun. Since so many of my Miis are Eva-related (or otherwise likely to be relevant to the interests of the local populace), I thought I'd share.

Apologies for the shitty image quality. Best I can manage right now.

Image
When you upload Miis, Nintendo only lets you input initials for the name. (My brain was thinking in Japanese at the critical moment here.) I guess it's a safeguard against Miis with names like "Uncle Fucker" and "12 Inch Cock" -- but still pretty lame.

Image
The Mii-creating tool set is limited.

Image
VERY limited.

But sometimes you can cheat the system a little.

I have a small cast of Evangelion characters in my little Mii universe, but I do think yours are a bit better. I'm not an accomplished artician, or anything to do with painting and the like. I don't have a Mii of myself because I'd keep changing my mind on what to put into it. Instead, I boast another cast of characters dedicated to my sci-fi series in hiatus. They're not that impressive due to the limitations of the Mii software, simple representations of complex designs and they tend to be complex characters in dress and in personality.

Maybe when I have time I'll touch a few up and post some.

At the risk of being redundant, I’ll keep gushing on about how much I like your Kaworu; his Mii suits him perfectly! It’s just too bad cosmetology wasn’t in Nintendo’s skill list.
Mari came out quite nicely too.

Haha! I've made a few Evangelion characters on the Mii as well. But I don't have a Wii at home, so I end up doing that on the Wii in the bonus room at church while getting paid to supervising children. None of the kids know who any of the characters are and wonder why their names are spelled all funny.

Mari and Kaji are best at golf and bowling. I use Mari anytime I'm playing the Wii with a boy because they hate getting beaten by girls.

I used to make Miis a lot until I got Soul Calibur 4. I still make them every once in a while, though.

I did made my own Rei on my folks' Wii once, but since I don't own one of my own (nor is too interested in getting one), I can't, but I do make characters in games that allows you to make 'em

especially the WWE games, though my brightest moment was making Rei, Shinji and Gendo in Rock Band 2 (wish I had screncaps :( )

Thanks for the comments.

Anyone else posted theirs to Check Mii Out?

Posted right alongside Shinji and Asuka, with a comment about how limited Mii creation tools are? :p

If you have a Wii with an Internet connection, you can get him via that obnoxiously long code. (Wonder if I should try making some of the other Khairax people for lulz?)
