I don't know, it could be pretty awesome having a little Gendo running around. :emogendo:

A friend of mine named his kid Lex after Superman's foe (the wife vetoed Kal-El even in the Cal El form... "sounds both redneck and weirdly spanish", quoth she). Much more awesome, however, is that the kid's middle name is Danger. Hey, it's better than one I saw in the local paper a while back... a kid with the middle name "bulldick" has a lot to live up to.

Would I name a kid after an eva character? Probably not! If I had a girl kid I would name her Pangea after the prehistoric supercontinent. If I had a boy I dunno what the hell I would name him, sure as hell wouldnt be Shinji though.

Don't you mean Yilgarn? Also, seeing what you were doing there.

In the event that I have kids, I don't think I'd be giving them Japanese names. Adam works, but that's about it. The name Lilith on a girl just sounds...wrong.

No, my first born is to be named Optimus Prime. Regardless of sex.
Neon Genesis Evangelion (from the Greek Ευανγελιον, meaning "Gigantic robots piloted by mentally ill children")
Eva Facts:
-Gendo's final silenced line to Ritsuko was "I'm going to shoot you now."
-Nagisa Kaworu kills a kitten every time you masturbate.
-Kaji's first and last name was Kaji

I wouldn't i don't think. Pets on the other hand, yes most definately.

Lilith is such a lame real life name and way over used as a default name in games that try and have a gothic feel but fail miserably. But parents nowa-days are giving kids friggin weird names anyway like Jacintella or Petruina. I made those up but the actual names arn't any better sounding

I've always had an inclination to someday name my first daughter Abigail. I think that's just a pretty name. But I'll probably spell it weird, like "Abygale" or something like that. Although Maya is a pretty name, but I've met Mayas before Evangelion, so I can't really attribute that to Eva. And my son would probably be named Leonardo or after some European artist like that. So, no. I probably won't name my kids after Eva characters.

I may have Kaji hair, but I'm not THAT obsessed over Eva.

If I could get away with it, maybe. I actually like some of the names.

I'd totally name a girl Eva, though.

If I have a daughter I might be tempted to name her Rei, since it doesn't sound too weird and I like the character's Chinese reading, Ling. It means "zero" though, which could be either kinda cool or really stupid depending on how you look at it.

Yes, Rei would be a nice name for a daughter.

Well, I was originally thinking that if I had two sons, I'd name 'em Edward (after my great-grandpa) and Alphonse (let's face it, Alphonse is awesome to begin with, but Ed and Al together are even more awesome), but now that'cha mention it... Hm... I must think over this scenario. To the Dead Sea Scrolls! Image

That's pretty cool.
Was she given that name because of EVA?

While the name Asuka isn't bad, I doubt I would name one of my children that.

If I have a girl, I'll name her Augustine.
If I have a boy, I'll name him Dante.

I've always liked the old names.

I would definitely name my first son, Shinji; maybe Asuka as my daughter?
