I was going to post something like this in this thread, but you beat me to it... last time I went to a con I spent wayyyy too much money on three of those Evangelion@School keychains, one of which ended up being a Sahaquiel that doesn't really look ANYTHING like Sahaquiel...and I don't use any of the keychains as keychains because I'm afraid of losing them...but still, I have no regrets about buying them, and would do it again . ^_^

- When you immediately call any large robots or humanoid mecha you see Evangelions.
- When you purchase a DVD box set of the TV series despite already owning a copy of it.
- When you purchase the NGE manga books despite normally reading manga online.
- When you read Angelic Days and the Shinji Ikari Raising Project mangas regardless of all of the bad reviews you've heard because you consider yourself a "dedicated fan".
- When you start daydreaming about crossovers between <insert> and Evangelion.
- When you make all of your friends and even your dad watch Evangelion with you.

My classmate has the Italian last name Sicari which in my mind sounds similar to Ikari so the Eva fangirl in me is very tempted to call him Sicari-kun. :shinji_eyebrow:

I acknowledged my obsession, again, for the umpteenth time, when I realized that the sound effect used for second impact/the wings of light was also used in Doctor Who... and I ran to tell anyone who would listen.

OMG I did that too! I heard that sound and reacted in a mixture of glee (at recognizing the connection) and abject horror, rolling about laughing and sobbing. And then after the fact I IM'd the only person I knew who watched the show and posted about it on facebook :lol:

When you look up at the moon/night sky and then start to imagine the scope in your head. There's just something about that absurd vastness and just trying to imagine ALL THE THINGS just gets very Eva-esque to me.

And Crystalline Night Sky plays in your head.

Fun fact: I counted that I've watched Eva 3.33 169 times! Holy shit. My life.....I need a doctor, now.

I've watched Q about 175 times now. This film is starting to become boring.... :lol:
