Do you think we will ever see another EVA series ?

So far we've seen 26 ep's and 2 movies in ten years. From a money standpoint EVA still makes decent bank for ganix, and money always leaves the door open for more anime :P .

Anno by all reports is a calmer happier guy then he was in the mid 90's, and is I believe unintrested in doing another series. Lets face it Eva with out Anno would not be eva at all.

Do you peeple think we'll ever see a sequle to our favorate animated obession ?

I wouldn't have a problem with a spin-off, or something. Like pre-2nd impact or the alt-universe, or something. Hell I don't care what they do, I'm sure it can't be much more a waste of my time then what I'm doing now. :lol:

i believe anno said that he would like to make another eva series as soon as he gets the ispiration for it. at the moment he said he is really into live action, i wonder what project has his interest? (sarcasm, obviously)

personally, i think it would be great if it was a pre second impact OR post third impact as long as it wasn't just a money maker with the soul that the originol had, taken out.

i would actually hate seeing an alternate universe thing with eva - look at tenchi - the oav was pretty nice, then they changed everything up and it sucked. at least that's how i feel about it. but hey, i could always be completely wrong.

The thing about EVA that makes it diffrent is interpersonal conflicts between the darkly human characters. The sequle I'd like to see would involve more of this. its not that I'm im intrested in stringing things along until I get a " happy ending" more that I'm intrested in watching another battle with the 18th angel so to speak.
