Punished "Venom" Ran1
Vanity of Vanities
Every post in Evageeks automaticaly becomes masturbatory material. It's nothing new. ~Justcrazyguy
Ran's persistent irony is a coping mechanism he uses to try and create some understanding of his paradoxical attraction to and disgust of the elitist bourgeois slaughterhouse in which he's forever trapped. --Muggy

Asuka's not a bitch, she just denies her innocence in a bitchy way.

I said and did some dumb and hurtful things in my time here when i was younger. If i ever hurt you, i'm sorry. If you see any of this while reading old threads, i'm learning and trying to improve. Donut redemption arc in progress.

Cicadas and the current summer weather: There's a heat wave going on here and it makes me think how they basically have years and years of summer in the story, if it's as hot as it is in my city, I don't know how I could live with it for that long, especially since I love fall and winter so much.
I know a girl who is of german descent and she loves Evangelion and I ask her if she was ever nicknamed Asuka. And she said, she had and that when she was Asuka's age, she identified with her.
Basically, every time religion is brought up, I now associate it with Evangelion because it has made me had some very deep thoughts about it.
The idea of the Apocalypse, although not exclusive to Evangelion, is something that I now quite relate to the show. Especially because we get to see a full-on doomsday scenario where nobody really seems to b survive (except for two people, you know who I'm talking about).
And I tend to do the Ikari pose a lot haha, but that's something that I've done way before I watched the series.

Me too, except in a positive way because the summers are very nice in my suburb.

We're all adrift on the stormy seas of Evangelion, desperately trying to gather what flotsam can be snatched from the gale into a somewhat seaworthy interpretation so that we can at last reach the shores of reason and respite. - ObsessiveMathsFreak
Jimbo has posted enough to be considered greater than or equal to everyone, and or synonymous with the concept of 'everyone'. - Muggy
I've seen so many changeful years, / to Earth I am a stranger grown: / I wander in the ways of men, / alike unknowing and unknown: / Unheard, unpitied, unrelieved, / I bear alone my load of care; / For silent, low, on beds of dust, / Lie all that would my sorrows share. - Robert Burns' Lament for James
