I don't know why but this is giving me mayor Dallas vibes for anyone who has never heard of their mind-bending 360 they messed up their series killed to many characters then did a huge knee-jerk "It was all a dream." and this feels like Shinji waking up from Q and going oh it's not real everything is cool again and Kaworu is really standing there.
