It's been a year since joined these boards. Damn, time moves fast. I just wanted to thank everyone for the awesome discussions we had. This place entertained me and, ultimately, helped me get my shit together. Sometimes we just need some time of dumb fun before moving on and doing what we have to do.
Well, that's pretty much it. Sorry if I've been kind of off lately. I hope we'll have even more fun later. That's why I became a mod, after all.
By the way, I'm posting this here because I couldn't think about any other thread XD

It was about 2008 when I first watched Death, then EoE, and after much puzzlement the series. This is what got me into anime as a whole.

I was aware of this forum from when I first started trying to understand Eva and its place in the scheme of things, but didn't join until the run up to the release of 3.33 'Q', at which point I became very active in the community, even meeting a couple of people in person.

The effect Q had on me, and the frustration of waiting for a resolution even led me to write my own - the first creative writing I've ever done (unless you count bad short stories I had to write at school).

I also contributed to the updating of the forum software in 2015, including writing the theme (to match the old theme, mainly...).

But now, I have seen and discussed the series and films; I have seen and discussed the theatrical film series; and I have gone back to the start of my experience and seen Death and EoE on the big screen. Life moves on, and I have other things to get done while I am still able.

So I am stopping coming here. But it's been a pleasure to know you.
