In fact you did! Mentioning it made me suddenly remember. The difference is that back then I never saw it up close, never really took it in all the way, whereas on gelbooru I have it set to display the image at full size immediately so the only form I saw it was up-close and that caused me to notice entirely new things and file it away as a different image in my memory.

Actually, yeah, thanks for reposting that. I don't think I've noticed Mari in that pic any of the previous times it was posted. Or, for that matter, Yui (I think) in the upper right behind Fuyutsuki.

Man, I love this picture. Thanks for finding a big version of it. I love that all the characters are so detailed and realistic, without becoming too "rough".

Does anyone know if the poster is based off another movie or TV franchise, or if it's just the artist's fan interpretation of how EVA could look. I say this because a lot of the characters are portrayed in a way we don't see in the series
