How would students studying psychology respond to NGE?

I've always wondered if this was done.

Each class they show an episode of Eva.

Combining the necessary ones like 25 and 26.

And then they see EOE.

How would students react to seeing this series?

Truth be told, I couldn't really say how they would react because I'm not them, and I honestly can't fathom a classroom showing it in the first place. I wouldn't be shocked if it actually happened, but its something I really couldn't begin to guess at.

Well, high school no way, but college definitely.

It's something that makes you think a lot and despite it being an anime about giant robots a lot of people could relate to the characters.

Personally I assume they would be both interested and horrified, and they would have more to discuss about the mindset of the writer rather than the characters. They would also say there is something wrong with KxS shippers cause SxA is totally the OTP. ;D

I showed a friend of mine, who has a major in psychology and is on the way to make her degree in clinical psychology (which she needs to diagnose people, from what I gathered). Well, she didn't say anything we haven't already gathered. She said, they definitely would need psychological help, even without their issues, since they are put under extremely traumatic stressful events all the time. And that they were textbook-examples of certain disorders, but as a professional she mustn't diagnose without interacting with them professionally.
Also, they are anime-characters :D

But from what I gathered, Brickhaus is a psychiatrist? So perhaps try searching the forum for his posts, since he rarely posts anything.
