Shinji - Vic Mignogna (Edward Elric - Fullmetal Alchemist, Gawl - Generator Gawl)
Asuka - Kari Wahlgren (Fuu - Samurai Champloo, Haruko - FLCL)
Touji - Chris Patton (Sousuke Sagara - Full Metal Panic)
Kensuke - Joshua Seth (Hige - Wolf's Rain, Knives - Trigun)
Kaworu - Johnny Yong Bosch (Kiba - Wolf's Rain, Vash - Trigun)
Fuyutsuki - Travis Willingham (Roy Mustang - Fullmetal Alchemist)
Gendo - Tom Wyner (Quent Yaiden - Wolf's Rain)
Kaji - Steve Blum (Spike - Cowboy Bebop, Mugen - Samurai Champloo)

now how about Japanese voice actors? I always wish the characters in anime shows could at least have Japanese accents for the English dubs.

If you think that's bad, look what they did to the HCP commitee. The Russian had a Southern Voice Actor. The French and UK representative's attempts at vague European accents were laughable. Only the American rep didn't sound ridiculous.

lol, I would say that'd be interesting to see. However, I don't exactly know what character's dubbed voices should be changed. Expecially Fuyutsuki and Gendo's, theirs match their characters very well.

For the most part I think the existing dubs were fine. It's minor characters like the Bridge Bunnies that I think they did a mediocre job with.

If Eva was redubbed it would probably still suck. I will stick to my subs.

Unless say the original Japanese VA's tried dubbing it into english. I might enjoy an "engrish" Evangelion.

I like the current dub, and whenever I read the manga the voices just pop in fittingly. However I think AVD did a better job than Manga with the actors/actresses.

Dubbed Gendo was especially cool, but didn't they replace him in their Renewal release?

Sadly yes, I personally thought Tristan McAvery did a great job on Gendo. But if it were redubbed.....FOR THE LOVE OF GOD REPLACE THE RUSSIAN SEELE DUDE'S VOICE WITH SOMEONE WITHOUT A SOUTHERN ACCENT!
