I dont usually go for the Rei pics, but this one's really beautiful. Her gaze is pretty intense!

I think the attitude to that sort of thing is different in Japan than it is in the west. Hell, Eva's been a massive merch-laden franchise for 15 years or so now, hardly the time to complain about 'selling out' :P

Just thought, theres no Mari in that pic. I think she's....ahem...'out of shot'. No wonder Gendo's looking so happy.

Actually you're right, like it's been mentioned recently in some other thread Eva-04 is male according to Kaworu in NGE2. Anyway I didn't know that they also made official arts about that scene, it's lovely.
