If he didnt have to kill him id say maybe. To S/K, but the thing is he does. Although personallity wise and etc. I think he'd probably be the best choice for Shinji outside of Hikari. It just personal tastes to me; I don't care for Yaoi. :biii:

I support Shinji/Kaworu.
I don't squee over it, but Kaworu (well Anime Kaworu) seemed like the only one who truly connected with Shinji...and one of the few people Shinji genuinely trusted.

As hap'nin as Kaji/Misato is, personally I wonder if Kaji/Ritsuko had a chance at some point in the series (namely in Misato's absence). There is the flirting going on in some scenes, and considering the history of the characters...Hmm.

i never took his flirting as a sign of true attraction, just him wanting to mess around with Misato's head... although i can't presume to know what ritsuko was thinking through the whole thing. i guess it's possible. :shrug:

re: kensuke/rei-- well, it's happened in fanfiction before. not such a big leap to doujin. :think:

true that it's used to wrap up the loose end that is Rei when Shinji is otherwise taken but i believe i've read at least one stand-alone K/R fic that wasn't so bad. i can't for the life of me remember which one it was, though, i think it's no longer on the web... honestly i prefer to see Rei with touji, but i don't mind K/R either, even if it is a stretch.

I was not at all serious about Kensuke/Rei. Kensuke was actually a completely random choice due to the fact that they don't appear to... you know... come from the same DNA strain. Otherwise I'd probably be a Shinji/Rei shipper.
