"Fem" means "female version of". The beginning of episode 25', "thermal expansion", morning glories, etc., all heavily imply that Shinji is male by default -- hence fem-Shinji.

"Fem-Kaworu" has special meaning, though, and around here one must be specific if referring to a "traditional" female version of Kaworu, as opposed to... you-know-who.

I'm kinda burnt out on all the S/A, S/R, S/K pairings, or maybe all of the teen pairings in general. I wish there were more fanworks for the adult characters. I wish the Hyuga/Misato, Fuyutsuki/Yui (shh, don't judge me :p ) or Aoba/Anyone pairings would get more love.

Yeah, I'm weird like that.

The only pairing i really ever liked was Shinji/Asuka, its actually probably my favorite pairing in all of fiction, but i don't want to digress.

Fan-pairings I have a weakness for:

Rei/Kaworu
Maya/Ritsuko

Though I have read fics of Shinji/whoever at times out of interest or because friends on here told me to read so. (Honestly, even though I'm not THAT into this, I think my favorite "non-Asuka Shinji/whoever fan-pairing" is probably Shinji/Misato. Probably. )

And I'm sorry. ;_; Is that a good thing or a bad thing I "converted" some of you? :sweatdrop:
