What is with western releases using poor snapshots of the film for advertising/promotion? I know it’s not specific to all media because my Blu-ray collections for Alien, LoTR, and the original Star Trek are all great. But for Eva I see cover arts with Unit 01 running, Unit 08, and here on Amazon just glimpses of a character or Unit instead of just using the promo images Japan uses. Who honestly looks at a picture of Maya looking at something else and goes “Yeah, this perfectly captures everything this movie has to offer.”

Anyway, it would be nice if the movies were actually released here. That way, more people could watch them.

Anyway, it would be nice if the movies were actually released here. That way, more people could watch them.
By the way, the images chosen to represent the films are truly horrible.

I took these pics from a Facebook group, I haven't even tried to search yet. Recalling that Amazon separates our country from others due the language barrier (we are the only one who speaks Portuguese). There is still no official statement, different from the "Prime Video LATAM" account that already announced (this account is only in Spanish), you have to look at the "Prime Video Brasil" account instead.

And it's not just the images that are terrible, the synopsis is too: it contains many spoilers

She's on the trailer for the next movie at the end credits that's it...but if I didn't know any better, and I brought it for her thinking she was in it, I'd be pissed.

Yep, I know. I took a look at the Brazilian Amazon Prime Video Twitter account and found absolutely nothing (unlike the Latin American account). It probably won't launch around here, buddy. At least not now.
So, these images are probably fake or something. I do not know. Anyway, they were very well done (except for the synopses hahaha).
