Well, here is the next stage. I also want to take the opportunity to say that because of the increasing complexity of the text as well as other events happening in my life right now (mainly starting a new job), I won't be able to post a new stage for a while. I'll try to get it posted before Christmas. Until then, enjoy.

As we move closer in, we notice that Gendo is moving his right hand towards Rei’s left breast.
Gendo: Merge all souls into one. And then, --

Extreme close up. Gendo places his hand on Rei’s breast.
Gendo (off): --Take me to Yui’s side.

Same shot as before, but now we see the hand melt into her breast.

Sure is awesome, although I found Shinji's "Who the hell are you?" a little too extreme for him. Italicizing the who for emphasis would have been better.

Thanks everyone for your comments, they are really appreciated. I do have a quick question that I hope can be answered. In EoE, the Evas make a somewhat circular pattern. It is supposed to mean something, but I don't know where to look for it. If someone has the answer. Could you please PM me? I'm trying to determine whether or not to use it, but I don't know what it's called. Thnak you for any help you can give me.

Behind her a hand very quickly types on her keyboard.

I took sort of a risk with this one, so I do hope you enjoy it. As for the next stage, it would be sometime in the begining or middle of May at the earliest.
Stage 86: Recollections
PAGE ONE
Panel 1
A blinding light covers the entire panel.
Panel 2
Extreme close up of Shinji’s eyes as they are opening slowly, as if he is waking up from a dream.
Panel 3
We’re now looking at the ceiling from Shinji’s POV. The ceiling is pretty old with cracks all over along with small pieces of it gone revealing the insulation, possibly asbestos, underneath.
Panel 4
We now look straight down at Shinji; staring straight up at us, whose top half covers most of the panel. He is lying in a bed and doesn’t have a shirt on.
PAGE TWO
Panel 1
From Shinji’s left side, we see him staring up at the ceiling.
Shinji (thought): What happened?
Panel 2
Another view of Shinji staring up.
Shinji (thought): I thought I heard many voices then—
Panel 3
Shinji’s eyes move to his left because he hears movement. He sees (and we as well looking from his right) the blanket moving. He now knows he’s not the only person in the bed.

We look at Shinji’s face. It remains calm.

While still under the covers, she starts to slide on top of Shinji. While we don’t see anything in particular, we can tell she’s topless at least.

Misato is completely on top of him, smiling a rather sly smile.
Misato: Do you know what I’m thinking about?
Shinji (thought): No, not really…

Focus on Shinji as he stares up at her.

Putting the characters directly in each other's roles rather than simply observing is a far more powerful way to convey instrumentality than even EoE gives us. To be honest, it actually seems like a much more natural way to show such happenings than the weirdly detached 'invisible spectator' Anno used.
Bonus points for Hikari vs. Toji scene. Wow.

This was an absolutely BRILLIANT way to portray Instrumentality. Excellent, EXCELLENT job. The Shinji/Asuka confrontation (although maybe they'll be more?) was good too, and really fitting for the manga counterparts.
Also, I chuckled slightly at the start of this scene with Misato/Shinji. I'm sure the fans of that pairing are pleased.

Shinji is going up a flight of stairs. In his rush, he slipped on one of the steps, so now he’s more clamoring up the stairs trying to regain his balance.

I definately wouldn't say it 'blew up in your face', so much as it just kinda happened. Shinji alone is a different twist on the alternate world section, yes, but it just feels flat... maybe if his suicide attempt failed (he hits and absolutely mangles his body, but is still alive and trapped there but with no sensation of pain I'd feel differently. The 'crashing through borders' and 'shattered glass' things are cliche.
The slight change in dialogue with the LCL sea was nice, though it's interesting you chose to cut way back on the sexual connotations. I'm not sure how I feel about that yet.
You also had 'shoe' instead of 'show' early on. I wasn't really looking for nitpicky errors but that one jumped out at me.
