Ironically all of those got cancelled before their time. Why do the really good toons always get the ax when the mediocre and bad stuff stays around forever? I guess its true that no matter how good something is it can almost never compete with something thats bad.

Ivor the Engine (link is probably to the revised and much edited version shown a generation or so after I watched it).

Pingwings -- stop motion animation, and about the earliest TV I remember.

Anyone remember the cartoon version of The Tick? I thought it was extremely funny, but I think it only lasted about two seasons.

Alvin and the Chipmunks,

Speed Racer,

Michigan J. Frog,

Winnie the Pooh. This "silly old bear" has made more money then any other cartoon you can think of combined. :money:

Basically a lot of old Cartoon Network, Foxkids, most 80's& 90's anime and Nickelodeon cartoons. I'm too lazy to list them down.

Yes (if we're talking about The New Adventures, that is). There are SO many episodes of that show I remember vividly to this day. The best ones:

Find Her, Keep Her (I cried at this as a kid)
Donkey for a Day (BEST ENDING EVER!)
Cleanliness is Next to Impossible (who didn't think there was a whole other dimension under their bed?)
All's Well that Ends Wishing Well (finding a land where you could have a ton of birthday wishes and they all came true? AWESOME!)

The Rugrats is probably the only thing from my childhood that I hold sacred. That cartoon defined the young me.

Also, I need to track down some episodes of Rocko's Modern Life.
"Now, from Nature we obtain abundant information about ourselves, and precious little about others. About the woman you clasp in your arms, can you say with certainty that she does not feign pleasure? About the woman you mistreat, are you quite sure that from abuse she does not derive some obscure and lascivious satisfaction? Let us confine ourselves to simple evidence: through thoughtfulness, gentleness, concern for the feelings of others we saddle our own pleasure with restrictions, and make this sacrifice to obtain a doubtful result." -The Divine Marquis

"I agree Hans, but we have talked about those anal fisting analogies." -Werner Herzog

What CC said, though in my case, just about any cartoon from the 80s/90s to 2000.

Yeah I watched lots of TV growing up. :sweatdrop:

Nobody's mentioned Bruce Timm's Batman: The Animated Series yet? I never watched much TV when I was younger, but this and the Superman series of the same time were always at the top of my priorities. I remember catching some episodes of some other things (the earlier nicktoons like Real Monsters, Rocco's Modern Life, Kablam, Ren & Stimpy), but man, nothing like Batman. I STILL go back and watch this show.
