I doubt Transformers has a religion, and I don't think it ever will.

I found Twilight written on the level of a less-than-average fanfiction writer.

with a horrible obsession for overdescribing unimportant things. it doesn't make me feel like i'm experiencing what the character is, it just pisses me off. i really don't need to know the precise level of cooked the contents of her frying pan were at in between the second and third ring of the phone

Sometimes I sit and think, and then I wonder: "Does The PRPD sit on his computer looking for this shit?" Because I would have never come across any of this on my own, and I'd be at peace with that.

I just find most of this stuff on other forums and articles that pop up when I check my e-mail.

The recent link is from me just checking my mail.

If you check Fark, you'll come across this sort of shit all the time.

If I hadn't lost all faith in humanity already, I'd probably be suicidal by now.

Well, I think we're missing a valuable side of the story.

Are there any Twilight lovers here who want to defend themselves in front of us? I can promise I will treat you with respect, but I can't really say for my other comrades, so post at your peril.

Aye, I too will be respectful. I have plenty of friends who enjoy the series; the boys I call fags, the girls I call girls. And I'm still close friends with all despite their tastes.

I'm sure not all Twilight fans are bad and I'm sure they're those who are also casual fans of the series. The rabid, scary, fangirls/boys of Twilight are the ones who definitely make all of 'em look bad.

They're kitten mittens...or mittons if you're Charlie (i.e. retarded).

All this reminds me of how my little brother reacted when he saw the commercial for new moon, stating that "Twlight is only read by girls" and then very quietly he said "...and gay people", to which i replied "Don't be silly, gay guys have better taste then that." Good times.

I shall also be respectful. Two of my three sisters are Twilight fans, so I can respect and tolerate their opinions while I dish out me reasons for hating it. ^_^

Perhaps he was trying to hint at something.

Damn it.

This is the part that worries me most:
That's according to a release from Japanese artist network pixiv—pretty much the overseas equivalent of deviantArt—which has tapped Kojima, Evangelion character designer and manga creator Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, and Twilight manga artist Ryuji Gotsubo to judge a Twilight: New Moon fan art contest.

In other words, as much as I hate to say it, we have a traitor in our midst.

The most awesome thing ever. Seriously.
I witnessed a young girl ohhh about 12 years of age or so fall off a snowbank then proceed to say "Fuck you snowhill that hurt" - Dataprime

I don't think it's a big deal.

Oh and some of the people who commented the article are now mocking Kojima.

Traitor? You act like he's committing a mutiny. As much as I dislike and avoid the Twilight series, I'm not going to downplay somebody because they enjoy it. It's they're own opinion and interest and it's wrong to alienate someone because they happen to like something you don't. Especially if you respected that person prior to finding out about it.

Besides, you don't need to like it in order be a part of it. Just look at the actors.
