FLASH! *Abrams steps into a dazzled room* No you do not. You think this is the best compilation project ever, you will go see every film four times, and when they come out on DVD, you will buy many, many copies to give to all your friends and family. *stops waiving his camera/neuralizer*

*chuckles* You will buy, you will buy.

I don't even think I ever had that reaction. I just...moved on, sometime during the prequels I think (probably after III). The originals are still awesome and I'll probably end up seeing the new trilogy anyway (I make a habit of seeing all big summer blockbusters), but I've no love or hate for SW anymore.

Oh I am laffin.

If these guys can pull off a decent star wars film that gets a good reception, I'll watch it. Maybe even at the local cinema.

I saw the ten minute sneak peak for the new Star Wars Rebels cartoon last night. It's surprisingly good! Even if half of the expanded universe was destroyed to make room for it.

And here's the first seven minutes of it. Doesn't look too bad in my opinion.

Darth Vader will make a cameo in the animated series Star Wars: Rebels and will be voiced by James Earl Jones. Airs Oct. 26th
Still have yet to watch Spark of the Rebellion. Reviews have me weary to waste time on it or not. The prospect of having Vader as a cameo so early in the series has piqued my interest somewhat though.

I find your lack of faith in this new series ... disturbing

To me, that says the show can't stand on its own and already needs a boost from a cameo of a much loved character.

I'm sure Disney demanded a Vader cameo in order to boost ratings

@Dataprime

Just waiting it out and seeing how this series will go. I'm still heart broken the Clone Wars mini series was replaced by the 2008 Clone Wars series. Since it's by the same guy, I'm not too enthusiastic, but perhaps going for the OT universe will be compelling.

@Sorrow

It's a good point but it shows more mesh between this series and the OT that I was wondering would come or not. May work out great or fall flat.
