CHEAPEST Shows You've Ever Seen?
these new age 'flash' cartoons are a disgrace. I hate how theyre purposely animated badly under the guise of 'stoner comedies' so they can work with shoestring budgets while simultaneously getting hipster cred. i'm talking about stuff like stuff like highschool USA, archer, my little pony and adult swim stoner cartoons like squidbillies, aqua teen hunger force, metalocalypse, venture bros, etc. I was watching better animated stuff in 2003 on newgrounds
in anime the cheapest show I can think of is digimon adventures. the amount of re-used animation is staggering. the show is barley animated at all when compared to other anime. the fight scenes (if you can call them that) are a joke and are usually over the second one of the main digimon uses his/her signature attack which is the same animation they use over and over

If you weren't watching TV 50 years ago, you've not seen cheap. I remember the Zarbi in that early Doctor Who season. And the SFX all the way through the '70s.

You've not seen cheap until you've seen Ed Wood. Just watch Plan 9. It is delightfully cheap.

I love how the guy behind that series boats of producing more "animation" faster than Disney did. Shows like that inspire me in the same way the filmmaker behind Manos, Hands of Fate was inspired: If anyone can make this kind of cheap crap and pass it off as a product, then I should be able to as well.
One Word: Oobi
that show's budget is like $100 or something. It's funny. they got away with letting the hand puppets mess with glue and the glue totally looks like jizz
