No one ever said you have to hurt AND heal someone; did they?

FYI, I'm focusing the pain on the plain-looking, boring glasses wearing girl first, the non-monochromed Rei clone next; maybe do some more Rei or Kaworu hurting in between.

Well, this Rei-fusion was an interesting thing to happen. I'm actually half tempted to heal Rei now... just to keep things interesting, you know.

Mayumi hears she'll have to transfer out of Tokyo-3 soon. Everyone still gives a cold shoulder.

Tragically, the Angel core within Mayumi goes wild. She commits suicide ala her Bad End in Second Impression. Rei, meanwhile, feels a strange sense of peace despite Commander Ikari being gone; she realizes that she now has freedom.
